Awakening on the 11th of July uncharacteristically late (it was already afternoon) I learned something shameful about small pockets of the unionist community in Northern Ireland.

Heading into the shower I could hear what sounded like a matching band and could smell smoke!

Heading out with a friend I walked down to Donegall pass in South Belfast where I witnessed a community gathering from the mostly Protestant estates adjacent.
