Survey shows continuing hunger across US as Congress prepares to cut food stamps

A Gallup poll released this past week shows the tens of millions of American families continue to face the threat of hunger. The “food hardship” statistics are based on surveys conducted with more than 177,000 US adults during the first six months of 2012, as part of the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index.
